Did you recently make a first-time decision to follow Jesus? Did you recently rededicate your life to Christ? Are you a believer but you have never been baptized? Maybe you are a believer and just need to connect somewhere to grow.
We all have a “next step” we are on in our spiritual life. Let us help you! We offer community groups throughout the year that allow you to connect with other believers and spend several months diving into a specific topic or book. We also offer free biblical mentoring and guidance. Let us know how we can help you on your spiritual journey.
Unite
Attending church and belonging to a church family are two different things. Many people attend church. While we appreciate everyone who attends our Church, we desire to unite every person into the family of God and then help them find their place, their gift, and their calling and help them pursue what God has for them.
The first step to this is our Next Steps class. Learn about who GWC is including our mission, vision, and values. Next Steps is a requirement for those desiring to serve at Goldsboro Worship Center. Childcare is always provided for our in-house next steps class.
Develop
In Matthew 11 Jesus walked by a fig tree looking for some fruit. When He did not find any, he cursed the tree. We believe all of us are called to grow in our spiritual walk throughout our lives. We want to help you develop into a confident, mature believer.
We encourage all of our GWC families to get involved in B-Groups. B-Groups are small groups of people who spend several months together diving into a particular topic or book. Through teaching, discussion, and relationships, we believe this is how we can become mature, confident disciples of Jesus.
Serve
We are not called to simply consume Christianity. We are called to be Kingdom builders. Our goal is to get every person that is a part of our GWC Church family to become involved in building the Kingdom of God. Each of us have different gifts, abilities and callings. We want to help you discover your purpose and your calling. One way to discover that is to serve in the Kingdom. Let our Pastors and leaders help you find the right ministry to get involved in and let’s make a difference together!
